Xiaomi Mi Band 7 is said to come with GPS and always-on display
The upcoming Xiaomi Mi Band 7, if it will be called that (Smart Band 7 is a possible name), should appear with a number of new features. Apparently, the first firmware for the wearable has already appeared, which is said to have revealed a lot.
As you can read, Xiaomi's next fitness tracker may have its own GPS, a larger screen (490 x 192 pixels) with an always-on function, smart alarm clocks and much more.
The smart alarm clock is said to gently "wake up" the user 30 minutes before the actual wake-up time. A new power-saving mode should also be on board, which should extend the battery life. However, there is no precise information on this yet.
The internal code name of the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 is said to be "L66". The fitness tracker should then appear under the model numbers "M2129B1" and "M2130B1". We could then probably expect 2 different model variants.
