Xiaomi has consistently rolled out security patch updates for the Mi A3. The device is currently running Android 11, but Xiaomi is not giving users hope for an Android 12 update. This means that users of the device can look forward to a new security patch update at least every month. The February 2022 security patch for the Xiaomi Mi A3 is now arriving.

The Xiaomi Mi A3 is the last device of the Mi A series with active support. Although this will end soon. Updates have been distributed regularly over the past few years, but sometimes there have been delays. And so the security patch for February 2022 is here on March 1st.

The update has the version number V12.0.20.0 RFQMIXM and is a mere 13.39 MB in size. It's a small package, meaning it probably just raised the Android security patch level to February 2022.

Currently, only the worldwide users will receive the update, the European models are expected to receive the update in the next few days.
