Vivo X Fold: Vivo s first foldable phone design revealed
The Vivo X Fold will likely launch in China in April. It will be Vivo's first foldable smartphone. Well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has released a design sketch showing what to expect from the design of the Vivo X Fold. He also revealed the internal codename "Butterfly" for the upcoming foldable device.
The schematic of the Vivo X Fold shows that the cover display will have a curved edge and a central punch hole. On the back of the device is a round module in a rectangular block. It houses an LED flash and a quad camera.
According to recent reports, the Vivo X Fold can be unfolded like a book to access the inner, foldable display. Both screens are rumored to come with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
Possible Vivo X Fold specifications
A 6.5″ FullHD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz is expected on the front of the Vivo X Fold. It will likely come with an internal 8″ display with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is supposed to work inside.
The rear camera module of the Vivo X Fold is led by a 50 MP camera. It is supported by a 48MP ultra wide angle lens, a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and an 8MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom.
The device is powered by a 4,600 mAh battery. It will offer support for 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. There is currently no information about the other cameras, RAM and storage capacities of the Vivo X Fold.
