Samsung statement on throttling 10,000 apps is available

In the past few days, it has been revealed that Samsung is throttling the performance of over 10,000 apps - a list that includes system apps, Google apps, and numerous third-party apps. The manufacturer has now spoken about this in an official statement.

The limits are imposed by the Game Optimizing Service (GOS), which aims to prevent overheating and throttling issues by optimizing system performance. This should be improved, because Samsung wants to roll out an update for the GOS soon, in which the problem should then be eliminated or optimized:

"We are constantly trying to expand the possibilities for users and to offer the best possible performance, taking into account customer opinions.
GOS (Game Optimizing Service) of Samsung Galaxy S22 series is preinstalled for optimizing the performance of CPU and GPU to prevent excessive heating when playing a game for a long time.
