Jon Prosser tweeted some information about Google's upcoming products and said that the Pixel 6a will be announced at Google I/O 2022. However, that's not the only product he mentioned. The Pixel Watch was also discussed. Jon Prosser said that Google will announce the Pixel Watch during Google I/O 2022 but won't be showing it.

The Pixel Watch is set to be unveiled in October, in other words, it will launch alongside the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro.

The launch of the Pixel 6a is not long in coming, it is scheduled to take place on July 28th . However, considering the Pixel 5a was announced and released in August of last year, that's not too bad. It's a shame Google won't start selling the device right after the Google I/O, but that's to be expected.
