Oppo is reportedly planning an ultra flagship in the second half of the year
The Oppo Find X5 Pro was recently presented at the MWC 2022. It's a brand new device, then, and a new rumor already suggests that Oppo is planning to launch an "Ultra" flagship in the second half of 2022.
Digital Chat Station not only confirmed the new flagship for the second half of the year, but also that it will feature a new SoC. The device will reportedly come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+, or whatever it ends up being called.
Manufactured by TSMC instead of Samsung, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ is said to offer better performance and thermal control than the current flagship SoC.
What else could be different about this phone? Well, the periscope camera could return, the Hasselblad partnership could shine again with better results. The rest of the specs will likely be similar to the Oppo Find X5 Pro.
