{Disarmed} Android Auto launches integrated GPS navigator with offline maps
Android Auto is one of the most popular interfaces to be able to control our mobile in the car. Despite the fact that there are many applications with which it is compatible, Google is testing a new GPS navigator.
A new browser that, at the moment, is in beta
This new browser will appear as one more application, very similar to the function of sending content in which the company is also working to make it possible for us to enjoy multimedia content in the car at those times when we are parked.
One of the qualities that make HERE WeGo , which is what the browser is called, special is that it has free offline maps, probably based onGoogle Maps , and works without internet.
The platform already allows some users to try this new browser, although if it doesn't appear, don't worry since it currently corresponds to its beta version.
The interface, for the moment, seems somewhat less elaborate than that of others, although we will continue to be able to use the one that best suits our tastes. It is designed to be able to have an integrated navigator and thus not have the obligation to install a navigator compatible with Android Auto.
This app appears in Android Auto beta 4.4 , so trying it out is as simple as downloading that version and seeing for yourself if you're convinced by this browser, which, by the way, adapts its interface to CoolWalk .
