Telekom gives away data volume as compensation for network problems - this is how you get it

Telekom had some problems with its network and its stability in the last few days. That is why there is now compensation for customers. However, the offer is only valid for a few days, so you should take care of it now if you can use some extra data volume.

Telekom gives you 2 GB of data volume

At Telekom, campaigns are launched from time to time where you can access free data volume. At the beginning of each new month, for example, many customers receive 500 MB free of charge via the app. Since the Telekom network had to struggle with strong fluctuations in the last few days and you could not use a stable network as usual, there is now a small compensation.

You can use the MeinMagenta app to pick up an impressive 2 GB of data volume until February 28th, 2022. If the campaign is not displayed in the app, you can try it on the pass.telekom.de website. There you can also get the 2 GB data volume. But you have to call up the website via the mobile network with your smartphone. It doesn't work over WiFi.

With the campaign, Telekom wants to make up for the fact that the network could not be used as usual. Maintenance has also been announced for the next few days, so there may be occasional disruptions.

Free data volume also for Congstar tariffs

If you are not with Telekom directly, but with Congstar , you can use the datapass.de website to access the free data volume. The action should therefore not only apply to direct Telekom customers, but also to the partners. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me with Fraenk. This tariff is probably not one of the chosen ones. Try it out, you might be pleasantly surprised.
