OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G: The other Galaxy A52
As expected, the Chinese manufacturer OnePlus has unveiled the Nord CE 2 5G. The cell phone is in the middle class and its equipment is very reminiscent of the popular Galaxy A52. Unlike the Samsung cell phone, however, OnePlus has opted for a MediaTek processor, the Dimensity 900 5G with Wi-Fi 6 is used.
It comes with an AMOLED display that offers a diagonal of 6.43 inches and has a refresh rate of 90 Hertz. The manufacturer specifies the resolution as 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. The Galaxy A52 also achieves these values.
The internal memory of 128 GB can be expanded, and 8 GB of working memory is available. At the beginning, Android 11 (OxygenOS) is still installed on the Nord CE 2 5G, an update to Android 12 is only to follow in the second half of the year.
Wireless charging is not provided for the cell phone, but it is fairly quick with a cable. 65 watts are possible here via SuperVOOC. A suitable charger is included in the package , which is no longer a matter of course today. The battery itself has a capacity of 4,500 mAh.
Selfies can be created with the Nord CE 2 5G with up to 8 MP. At the back there is a triple camera that can take pictures with 64 MP (wide angle). There is also an ultra wide angle (8 MP) and a small macro lens (2 MP). 4K videos are possible at 30 frames per second.
