{Disarmed} 2K screens and fast charging are not just high-end things: the new POCO F4 scares its rivals
Over the last few weeks we have been telling you different information about the new range of the Redmi K50 , which we recently saw presented its first member, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition . In principle, this new generation will go on sale globally under the name of POCO F4 and POCO F4 Pro, two phones that aim to be the best on the market.
As we can read today through My Drivers , it seems that Xiaomi would have decided to incorporate in its new generation Redmi K50 processors signed by Mediatek against the Qualcomm that we saw in the Gaming Edition, in addition to many other top specifications that we tell you next.
The new Redmi will equip a Mediatek Dimensity series processor
We have already been able to see on previous occasions what the design of this new Redmi K50 series will be like but, as has happened in other products, the POCO models that we will see in the Global market will have a slightly different design than the latter, although we do not have information about it for now.
In what if these models will be identical, it will be in their internal hardware. Apparently, Xiaomi would have reserved only for the Gaming Edition variant a processor signed by Qualcomm, leaving the new K50 and K50 Pro with a Mediatek brain, probably from the Dimensity 9000 series, something that we will see reflected in the POCO variants.
Other interesting details that are known about these models is that they will have AMOLED panels with 2K resolution and high refresh rates, fast charges that could reach 120 Hz and many other specifications that would place them at the top of the Android mid-range.
Therefore, we will have to keep waiting for official information from Xiaomi about these devices, terminals that are expected to arrive over the next few months with fairly tight prices both in China and globally with different trade names.
