{Disarmed} Xiaomi jumps on the NFT bandwagon with a collection of 500 digital dragon eggs
It seems that the December 28 Xiaomi is not "limited" to present a fleet of phones, the new MIUI 13, the smartwatch My Watch S1 operating system or the new headphones My True Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones 3. As part of the event A series of NFTs has been unveiled , a digital collection inspired by the newXiaomi 12 and the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
Through MyDrivers we get this news that presents a set of "dragon eggs" on a floating island called "future city", a futuristic city around which different visual elements revolve. Xiaomi thus gets on the NFT bandwagon.
Eggs from 'Snapdragon' in Xiaomi city
The NFT tokens not fungible (that is, not interchangeable) have presented a new type of business, inheriting from art that sense of the exclusive and unique , the inimitable of the current digital world.
Its artistic value and commercial sense have been long debated and discussed - there is a strong suspicion derived from an extensive study that confirms that NFTs may be being used for money laundering.
Xiaomi's perspective, however, seems quite innocuous, and has wanted to constitute this collection as an extra for the faster MiFans. Each dragon egg is accompanied by a unique code certificate that validates the exclusivity of this product, making it unalterable to be replicated or violated.
These NFTs will only be available to users and customers in China and are limited to 500 copies. The introductory message reads "Digital collections are the hottest consumer trend among young people right now. We hope that with this sale, the best users will create a young community exclusively for Gen Z players."
