That would be a big step for Xiaomi, because so far a sub-display camera has only been installed in the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, which is only offered in China. The Xiaomi 12 Pro will most likely be launched worldwide and is certainly not a smartphone that you can experiment with. The only problem with under-display cameras is that the sensors, as the name suggests, are located under the display and the image quality suffers as a result . If Xiaomi succeeded in doing this with the new 12 Pro, it would be a big and important step for the entire industry.
