Huawei Nova 8i

The Huawei Nova 8i, originally announced in July, has now arrived in Europe and is available from the official Huawei Germany webshop or from Amazon Germany for EUR 349.00 in the version with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage.

There is also a pre-order promotion, all orderers receive a pair of FreeBuds 4i earphones for free. Deliveries are expected to begin on October 19th. The Huawei Nova 8i is available in the colors Moonlight Silver and Starry Black.

The Huawei Nova 8i has a 6.67 ″ IPS LCD with FullHD + resolution and a pill-shaped cutout for the 16 MP selfie camera. Inside, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 works together with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, but only a 4G variant of the processor is used. The phone runs on EMUI 11.0, which is based on Android 10 and not Huawei's own HarmonyOS 2. Like all current Huawei devices, the Nova 8i comes without Google services.

Further technical data include a 64 MP main camera along with an 8 MP ultra-angle camera, 2 MP macro camera and a 2 MP depth sensor, a 4,300 mAh battery with a fast 66 watt quick charge via cable and a fingerprint sensor attached to the side. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0 with A2DP and LE are also included in the scope of delivery, as is a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a USB Type C port.
