Bad news for the users waiting for Cyberpunk 2077's next-gen update. This year there will be nothing more with the update! PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X users will have to wait a few more months for an adapted and enhanced version of the game.

Now it should be ready in the first quarter of 2022 if everything goes smoothly. But that's always a thing with the developers. I wouldn't want to insist on the fact that we will really get the next-gen update by the end of March 2022. Too much has gone wrong with Cyberpunk 2077 in the past few months for that.

For CD Project Red, the developers behind the game, it's also a big blow. Because the Christmas business would certainly have been good for the drilled-out version. Certainly would have meant good sales. So now the Easter Bunny will probably have to fix it.
