Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro launched

Xiaomi unveiled its 11T series. This set includes two Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro models that are almost identical and there are a few differences between them. These phones will replace last year's Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro.

Design of Xiaomi 11T / 11T Pro

Xiaomi 11T series design is inspired by the shooting of old movies. This can be seen by placing the triple camera array behind it.

These phones have a plastic frame and a glass back with anti-light effects. They also have narrow curved edges on the back to give the user a better grip experience. At the front, they have a punch hole display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protector.

The volume keys and power button with the fingerprint sensor built into it are on the right, while there is no key on the left. In addition, at the bottom is a USB Type-C port, a main microphone, a speaker and a SIM card slot. Finally, the top includes an IR blaster, another speaker, and a secondary microphone.

These smartphones are rated IP53 with dimensions of 164.1 by 76.9 by 8.8 mm and weigh a difference of one gram, the Vanilla model and the Pro model are 203 and 204 grams, respectively.

Xiaomi 11T series is available in three colors: meteor gray, moon white and sky blue.

The Xiaomi 11T Series features a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD +), more than 1 billion colors, a 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling.

The panel has a DisplayMate A + rating, a central punch hole, a 20: 9 aspect ratio, a 5,000,000: 1 contrast ratio and a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. It also supports HDR10 +, Dolby Vision (Pro only), TrueColor, Sunlight Mode 3.0 and Reading Mode 3.0.

Function

The Xiaomi 11T has a MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra SoC processor that comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 memory. The Xiaomi 11T Pro, on the other hand, supports Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 chipset, which comes with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 memory. The heat of these two devices is controlled by a liquid cooling system.

Camera

Both smartphones have a dual rear camera that includes a 108-megapixel main sensor, an ultra-wide 8-megapixel unit (120 degrees Fahrenheit) and a 5-megapixel telephoto macro camera with autofocus. While for selfies and video calls, they use a 16-megapixel camera.

In addition to the usual MIUI camera features, these phones have new camera features such as sound zoom, one-click AI cinema, Time Freeze and mijia Zoom. The Pro also supports video recording at 8K at 30 frames per second, 4K at 60 frames per second, and HDR10 +.

Unfortunately, the maximum speed of the Vanilla 4K model is 30 frames per second. Even the front camera in the standard version is limited to 1080p 30fps, while the Pro model can record up to 1080p 60fps.

Other features

In terms of connectivity, the two phones support 5G, dual SIM, dual-band WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS (GPS, A-GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BeiDou), NFC and USB Type-C. They have all the necessary sensors such as accelerometer, proximity sensor, 360 degree ambient light sensor, gyroscope, compass and IR blaster. The Pro version also has a sphygmomanometer and a color temperature sensor.

The handsets feature an X-axis linear vibration engine, Hi-Res Audio certification and dedicated dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. In addition, the Pro speakers are tuned by Harmon Kardon.

These smartphones run MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 and have three versions of Android and four years of security support.

Battery and charger

Xiaomi 11T series supports a 5000 mAh battery. The Pro version supports Xiaomi HyperCharge 120W technology, while the vanilla version is limited to 67W charging.

The 120 watt charging technology of the Xiaomi 11T Pro is able to charge the phone from 2 to 100% in just 17 minutes. This charging solution is TÜV Rheinland Safe Fast-Charge System certified and thanks to 34 battery / charge features, instant temperature monitoring and other protection measures. While charging the Xiaomi 11T lasts from 1 ٪ to 100 ٪ 36 minutes.

Each of these two phones is sold with the respective 67 and 120 watt chargers, which can be used to charge other products.
