It looks like Samsung is having serious problems getting Android 12 and One UI 4.0 working on the Galaxy S21 range. Samsung had already announced that it would launch the One UI 4.0 beta program for its flagship series in September. Will that be what?

The first beta should be released last week already, but was at a later date postponed . And it seems we will have to wait until October even. Samsung has reportedly postponed the release of the Android 12 One UI 4.0 beta until October because of new bugs recently discovered.

That's a little disappointing. But nothing unusual with betas. Last year, the Samsung Galaxy S20 series also received the first Android 11 beta in early October. So it's no earlier or later than last year when it starts in October.

The decisive factor is how quickly Samsung is able to make the stable update to Android 12 with the new One UI 4.0 available to the general public. Hopefully that will happen before the end of the year.
