A new, more advanced sound control system is coming to MIUI 12

Some time ago we told you about the new multimedia control for MIUI 12 . An advanced audio control system that Xiaomi had introduced in its latest customization layer allowing us to control the volume of each application separately.

In detail, this new option is already available in the public beta of MIUI 12 for the Chinese ROM, predicting that we will see it soon in the stable version. And, this new functionality allows us to manage the volume in general of several channels separately .

To do this, Xiaomi has integrated a new option called Sound Assistant that allows us to enable the playback of several sound sources at the same time . This, in addition to allowing us to play music simultaneously, adds a new multimedia volume control.

Greater volume control for each application separately

In order to activate this option, we must activate two new configurations that we will find in Settings> Sound and Vibration> Sound Assistant.

After that, if we are playing a song on Spotify while browsing Facebook and a video automatically plays, we can manage the volume separately of each of these two applications.

In short, a quite useful utility that at the moment not even Android 11 adds . With this, Xiaomi would give one more option of personalization and adjustments, allowing us greater control of the system, and of the apps separately.
