"That's right - we got a notice" - this is how the short editor of CD-Action, Tomasz "Ninho" Lubczyński, begins the short entry.

A month ago, CD-Action appeared in newsagents and newsagents, without any additions in the form of a disc, code or scratch card with the game. It was already known then that the most popular gaming magazine created in Poland was going through a difficult period. You did not have to be a specialist in the press market to notice regularly falling sales of the magazine. Sales at 40,000 are a sad echo of great results from a decade or two ago.

Top editors began to leave CD-Action. Mateusz "Papkin" Witczak, Aleksander "Allor" Olszewski, Daniel "Cormac" Bartosik and Michał "Monk" Amielańczyk left the magazine, which was supported by the staff of the PC Format. By decision of Bauer, both editorial offices were merged, while PC Format as a paper magazine disappeared from the market.

The title is not controversial or perverse. We just finished CD-Action. Everyone as potential consumers. The magazine competed with the changing world. With the YouTube platform where you can go through the game without even buying it. With blogs focused on emotional journalism. At the same time, Bauer plans to issue the issue 6/2020, which has just been printed. It is likely that this will be the last CD-Action available on the market. Tomasz "Ninho" Lubczyński cannot say what the near future will bring. At the same time, the leading editor asks for support and warm words for the editor at this difficult moment. Meanwhile, CD-Action is not the only Bauer press title that hit the guillotine . The German publisher decided to close the titles of Color of Life, Ghost Stories, Kaleidoscope of Fate, Secrets and Passions, Investigation, A Pinch of Magic and Life and Hope. At the same time, Bauer assures that during the notice period the combined editors of CD-Action and PC Format will work on a normal basis. This means that there is still a chance for the next issues of the magazine.
