Miele Triflex HX1 Pro is a wireless vacuum cleaner that will last for years

Wireless vacuum cleaners are becoming more and more popular, but the vast majority of such devices practically do not differ from each other. The exception to this rule is Miele Triflex HX1 Pro, which is flexible in virtually every respect.

What does that even mean? I already explain. The first distinguishing feature of the device I test is the engine (unit which also includes the engine) called PowerUnit, which can be used in three different ways.

This is what the flexible Miele Triflex HX1 Pro concept is all about.

In the first, default PowerUnit mode is at the bottom of the device. This is an ideal mode for larger apartments and houses, when it is necessary to clean a large area in one go. Then the load on the wrist is much less than in the case of classic constructions and this is very important, because the wrists are heavily loaded during office work. Additional straining during cleaning, especially for long periods, is not needed.

Placing the motor downstairs is also useful when cleaning is often interrupted due to furniture on the floor or scattered items, e.g. toys. Then the vacuum cleaner can be put anywhere. You don't have to lean it against furniture or a wall.

We can also put PowerUnit on top of the vacuum cleaner to more conveniently clean the ceiling, smaller surfaces and reach into the space between the furniture. With this configuration, the device can also be turned into a hand-held vacuum cleaner, which is ideal for cleaning small areas, such as tables, shelves, armchairs or sofas.

Of course, you can connect additional accessories to this compact device - an electric brush for cleaning stairs or a suction pipe with a selected tip for removing cobwebs on the walls.

The Miele vacuum cleaner has a removable battery.

In this respect, other vacuum cleaners are very similar to modern smartphones and computers equipped with batteries that cannot be removed from the device. In Miele Triflex HX1 Pro it looks completely different.

The battery can be removed, so that energy gaps can be topped up both when it is inside and outside the device. Nothing prevents you to buy a second battery for the vacuum cleaner and charge it interchangeably. This way you can double the working time, which is from 17 minutes at the maximum level with the brush, to 60 minutes at the minimum level in the PowerUnit Solo mode without the brush.

The ability to replace the battery also means that we can easily replace the most vulnerable component of the device. If the links refuse to follow us for some time, we will be able to buy new instead of having to service the equipment or, God forbid, replace it with a new one.

It is a practically and ecological solution. Do not worry, however, that it will happen quickly, because the battery manufacturer, Varta, believes that after 5 years of work (400 cycles on medium power cycle) should have 80 percent. its declared capacity. For me, this time would be shorter, because I vacuum on average every three days, always on the highest mode. Not to clean up too long.

The Miele Triflex HX1 Pro vacuum cleaner also has interesting accessories.

The first of them is a waste container, which is equipped with a three-stage filtration system. It works so that the air with impurities reaches the transparent dust container and is filtered through the pre-filter. Thanks to Vorteks technology, large contaminants are separated from fine dust. Larger impurities fall to the bottom of the container, and fine dust is deposited on the internal fine dust filter. Then the air passes through the exhaust filter and returns back to the room.

In addition, it is worth mentioning that the tested equipment also has a HEPA Lifetime filter, which is especially recommended for allergy sufferers and achieves a filtering efficiency higher than 99.999 percent.

After such purification, the air falls outside, and the waste goes to the container, which also has an interesting construction. Just a light turn to open it. Its lid opens down, thanks to which the pollutants fall directly into the bin, which means we don't have any contact with dust.

The container also has a Max sign. after which you must empty it. The container holds a maximum of 0.5 liters of dirt. Its cleaning is also easy, it can be done with water and a mild cleaning agent. You should also clean the filters once a month so that the suction performance does not decrease, just like any other equipment of this type.

The Multi Floor XXL electric brush is also interesting, which can be used both on hard floors and carpets. The rotating brush combs the hair of the carpets perfectly, removing dust particles and picks up dirt from hard floors.

Importantly, the brush will recognize itself when it's on a harder surface, such as a carpet, and will increase the power to clean it better. Miele boasts that it is the widest brush on the market (28 cm), so it collects the most dirt. A pleasant addition is the removable roller for easy cleaning and the aforementioned possibility of parking the device, which is possible thanks to the electric brush.

Okay, but how does it clean up? Is it worth buying?

I left this part last because it is the most boring one. Well, Miele Triflex HX1 Pro works perfectly. It is a lightweight device, easy to use and can easily pull in any dirt from both floors and carpets, including those with long bristles. I really want to stick to something, but I don't really have anything to do. However, what could we expect from a German vacuum cleaner for PLN 2999? Exactly.

And here we come to the point. Miele Triflex HX1 Pro is certainly not a cheap device and the price means that it may not be suitable for everyone. The average bread eater will probably choose a cheaper model, which will be worse and ... there is nothing wrong with it, because each product is intended for a specific target group.

So if you belong to the Miele target group, i.e. you have the right budget, and want to buy a very good wireless vacuum cleaner that will last for years, then Miele Triflex HX1 Pro will be a great choice. Quality Made in Germany does its job.
