Four features in which the Redmi K30 Pro outperforms the Xiaomi Mi 10 as surprising as it may seem
Following the presentation of the new Xiaomi Mi 10 , Redmi unveiled its new flagship. We are talking about the Redmi K30 Pro , a new Flagship Killer that, in addition to becoming the economic alternative of the Mi 10 Series, brings with it certain improvements compared to this.
And it is that, although a priori, the Redmi K30 Pro has some other trimmed feature compared to the Xiaomi Mi 10 in order to get a more adjusted price, there are four features in which the Redmi terminal surpasses the new Xiaomi flagship.
1. IP53 Certification vs P2i Coating
Unlike the new Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro that only have a special treatment that protects them from dust and certain splashes ( P2i Coating ), the Redmi K30 Pro has official IP certification .
Specifically, Redmi's new flagship is IP53 certified , guaranteeing that although dust may enter the terminal in a minimal amount, it will not affect the correct operation of the device.
In addition, IP53 guarantees protection against splashes or water spray without pressure . In itself, this certification guarantees us:
- Being able to use the Redmi K30 Pro in the rain or near pools.
- Save our Redmi K30 Pro in case of an accident with liquids where a small amount of it spills.
2. Dual SIM support
Another difference in which the Redmi K30 Pro comes out better is in the Dual SIM support. Without going any further, Xiaomi has decided to eliminate this feature in the Global version of the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, counting in this case with only support for a single SIM.
For its part, the Redmi K30 Pro has Dual SIM support , allowing us to have two different numbers fully accessible from the same terminal.
3. Storage UFS 3.1 vs UFS 3.0
Although perhaps this is one of the less notable differences, the Redmi K30 Pro improves its storage type compared to that included in the Xiaomi Mi 10. In this case, the new high-end Redmi has UFS 3.1 , while the new Mi 10 series has UFS 3.0 storage.
In general, even though it is a minor update, UFS 3.1 improves in terms of energy consumption when integrating the new technology "Deep Sleep" and adds a better write speed compared to the UFS 3.0 standard.
4. Audio Jack and FM Radio
Finally and perhaps less importantly for some after the great advance that wireless headphones have given, only the Redmi K30 Pro has an audio jack port .
This allows us, in addition to being able to connect any traditional headset in an analog way and thus achieve better sound quality, allows the Redmi terminal to have FM Radio without having to use an online APP and thereby consume mobile data.
The entry Four characteristics in which the Redmi K30 Pro surpasses the Xiaomi Mi 10, surprising as it may seem, was first published on xiaomi: Xiaomi news and news website in general, we are Xiaomi .
