Another smartphone of this young brand, which began as a department in Xiaomi , was finally officially presented. Information about its specification and price has been circulating on the web for some time, but today rumors have been confirmed in reality.

As expected, the Poco X2 will not be the direct successor of Pocophone F1 from scratch. The new device, which, as expected, goes on sale in India, is based on the components of the Redmi K30 phone (i.e. the model intended for the Chinese market).

The display in Poco X2 has a 6.67-inch diagonal. Its aspect ratio is 20: 9 at FullHD + resolution. The panel supports HDR10 technology, and its biggest distinguishing feature is refreshment at as much as 120 Hz .

On the front of the device, which is almost devoid of frames, you can not see the classic notch. The Poco X2 display only has a cutout for the front camera consisting of two lenses (20 Mpix and 2 Mpix).

Three variants differing in storage capacity will go on sale. The basic version has 6 GB RAM and 64 GB of space for the system and data. Slightly more expensive Poco X2 offers 6 GB RAM and a disk with a capacity of 128 GB, and the most expensive - 8 GB of operational memory and 256 GB of disk space.

The main camera in Poco X2 has been equipped with as many as four lenses. The basic one, i.e. Sony IMX686, captures 64 Mpix frames. In addition, three other sensors are available: ultra wide angle (8 Mpix), macro (2 Mpix) and depth sensor (2 Mpix). Thanks to them, the phone can save RAW files and video in 960 FPS.

Poco X2 - additional equipment, colors and price

In the Poco X2 smartphone you can find a fingerprint reader mounted in the side button and a 4500 mAh battery charged with 27 W via the USB-C port. Interestingly, the housing has a minijack port and IR diodes, and the components are liquid-cooled. The device is available in three colors: Atlantis Blue, Matrix Purple and Phoenix Red.

Poco X2 version 6 GB / 64 GB was priced in India for the equivalent of $ 225. For the 6 GB / 128 GB variant you have to pay 240 dollars, and the model with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB data memory costs 280 dollars.
