In terms of ergonomics, the Canon EOS R5 is a completely different story than its progenitor EOS R. While the new mirrorless camera is less like an older one, it is closer to the refreshed Canon EOS 5D Mark IV at the back. Officially, the manufacturer only states that the Canon EOS R5 will have a double memory card slot. The pictures show that the touch panel has also disappeared, and in its place is a classic joystick. You can also see a large tilt and probably touch screen with the possibility of tilting 180 degrees. There is an upper small display, a mass of buttons and a rear dial that Canon SLRs are famous for. Certainly the Canon EOS R5 will be slightly larger and heavier than the EOS R model, but it may offer better ergonomics.
