Apple s electric car: Realistic concept proves what s possible

It's no longer a big secret: Apple has been working on its own electric car for some time. Very probably still unknown: What will it look like in the end? A first realistic draft proves what is theoretically feasible, because many of the details are actually based on Apple's current research results.

Although Apple's work on its own electric car is known, in the end many things are not yet known. Above all, the possible design remains completely in the dark. Apple's first electric car: SUV thought differently

What's special: Although the design is very imaginative, many of the details shown are based on actual Apple patents . Accordingly, on ideas that the iPhone manufacturer is really working on or at least considering. In general, the creators of the design decided on an SUV design. This is not surprising, since it is the form factor for e-cars that is still the focus of all manufacturers and customers. It is very likely that Apple's e-car will also appear as a higher vehicle. Sometime in the years 2024 or 2025, nobody knows for sure.

The highlight: A design based on Apple's patents

The pillar-free design of the glass cover that encompasses the windows, sunroof and windshield is based on patent number US10384519B1. There is nowhere else such an undisturbed all-round view. The adaptive doors are also based on a patent (number: US10384519B1). The solution, also known in this country as "suicide doors", offers significantly more space when getting in and out. Elements such as the Mac Pro-like mesh grille on the front, a soft white chassis and retractable door handles in the "iPhone design", however, originate entirely from the imagination of the makers. Inside the electric car, the concept also makes use of one or more patents. Certainly, this design is also just a work of fantasy in the end. Still, this looks like the first truly realistic concept for the Apple Car yet seen, so it's more than just a crazy design. The design may polarize, but it is fully in line with the trend in the industry. Ergo: It could actually be something like this.
