These smartphones will take advantage of the 5G network in Orange
We already know which smartphones will support 5G from the orange operator. Orange shared a list of mobile devices that are in line with its 5th generation network, which telecom calls Hello5G.
Already, all Polish operators offer customers a 5G network in Poland on frequencies previously used by LTE. The offer, however, differs depending on the telecom in principle in every respect - both in terms of coverage and the 5th generation tariff plans covered by the support, compatible devices, etc.
In the case of Orange and its Hello5G , when it comes to supported devices , there are already a dozen different phones on the list. The names of individual models were shared on Twitter by a spokesman for this operator. We decided to check what exactly these devices offer.
Huawei P40 , Huawei P40 Pro , Huawei P40 Pro Plus and Huawei P40 Lite 5G .
Four smartphones from the Huawei P40 family from different price shelves can connect to the Hello5G network. Each of these devices has a fantastic price / quality ratio in terms of technical specifications, but you have to remember that the new Huawei devices are based on Android from Huawei Mobile Services.
This means that on smartphones such as Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro, Huawei P40 Pro + and Huawei P40 Lite 5G there is no access to Google services such as the Google Play store. However, customers who choose to purchase a phone with Huawei Services can download applications from the Huawei AppGallery store.
Motorola Edge
An interesting proposition for Orange customers is Motorola Edge. It is a huge, 6.7-inch smartphones, whose OLED screen refreshed at 90 Hz displays 2340 by 1080 pixels, which translates into an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9 and a ppi of 385 pixels per inch.
The heart of this device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G octa-core chip (1x 2.4 GHz Kryo 475 Prime, 1x 2.2 GHz Kryo 475 Gold and 6x 1.8 GHz Kryo 475 Silver). Added to this is 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM. The device also has a 128 GB disk.
Motorola Edge offers a quad main camera, a single camera for safe-type photos and a battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh. The fingerprint reader in this model is mounted in the display.
Xiaomi Mi 10 , Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite
Another series of devices with a very good value for money is the Xiaomi Mi 10, which includes models such as Xiaomi Mi 10, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite. Also in their case, the price to the components selected by the company is very good, although not as much as in Huawei. Xiaomi brand equipment, however, has access to Google services.
LG Velvet
The smartphone supporting the Hello5G network has also appeared in the LG company's offer. Velvet, because we are talking about it, is another huge, 6.8-inch phone with ultra-wide proportions. Its screen is 2460 by 1080 pixels.
The heart of the device was the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G octa-core chip (1x 2.4 GHz Kryo 475 Prime, 1x 2.2 GHz Kryo 475 Gold and 6x 1.8 GHz Kryo 475 Silver), which supports 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. Added to this is a 128-gigabyte drive.
LG Velvet also includes a triple main camera and a single webcam for video calls. In addition, there is a battery with a capacity of 4300 mAh, which can be charged with a power of 25 W via a USB-C cable.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus 5G and Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G
Among the smartphones that support 5G from Orange, there are two top Samsung phones. One is the 6.7-inch model called the Galaxy S20 Plus 5G, and the other is the most expensive and largest phone in the entire Galaxy S20 line, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G.
Sony Xperia 1 II
Sony also took care of support for the 5G network in Poland. In her latest phone, which is called the best smartphone of this Japanese company in history, which is characterized by a unique screen with an ultra-wide aspect ratio of 21: 9, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip, and with it - a suitable data transmission module.
