How does the Cyberpunk 2077 adventure begin and what does the open world offer? We summarize the prologue of the Corpo path and look at the Night City map.

I started my Cyberpunk 2077 game with the character creator and if only I could spend only four hours in it that I could spend on playing the demo prepared by CD Projekt RED. Due to the fact that my time in the cavernous Night City was limited, I just cursively cursed the editor with heartache.

I chose one of the predefined characters and played the prologue in Cyberpunk 2077 , actually ... one of three prologues.

I started the game standing in front of the mirror in the toilet above the vomit. V was out of shape today, but he went to meet his boss, who is also just a cog in the machine. Along the way, I listened to some corporate propaganda of success flowing from the speakers and took the elevator to my floor.

A short conversation left me with a tart taste in my mouth. Jenkins made me an offer he couldn't refuse - either at his command I would kill his boss Abernathy or dump me to wolves. Reluctantly, I accepted the mission and spoke to my pal Jackie to agree on an action plan.

We met at Lizzie's bar, where a few thugs caught me in front of the entrance.

I flew there by a sky taxi and drank champagne along the way. After landing, I had a slight buzzing in my head and I had only a few moments to make a decision, but I kept cool, assessed my chances against three bream and quickly showed them where crayfish are wintering.

After covering their legs, I ordered the person guarding the entrance to take a look at my cart and went inside, where Jackie greeted me at the table. He was not, however, delighted with the idea of ​​cleaning up Abernathy and ... quite rightly. It turned out that my boss's boss is not beaten in the dark.

Sad men in suits in a few seconds meant that my life was over.

Abernathy sniffed the letter and sent her thugs for me. Although they didn't kill me, when Jackie explained to them that Lizzie's bar is very far from home, but I was forced to give Jenikns offenses. Finally, they reset my account and turned off corporate implants.

I thought I could handle it - the money could be made up and the implants fixed - but I couldn't predict one thing: my endocrine system without cybernetic boosters was crazy. I just sat there for a moment and despaired of my fate until I lost consciousness.

However, my adventure with Cyberpunk 2077 could have started quite differently.

In addition to the appearance and sex of the hero - and it is worth adding that in Cyberpunk 2077 separately selects the silhouette and facial features, voice of the character and genitals - in the wizard you need to allocate attribute points (Body, Intelligence, Reflex, Tech and Cool) and choose the so-called life path. It is a huge influence on further gameplay.

It is this choice that determines what our hero, called V briefly by others, did before he became our avatar in Night City. You can choose from Nomad (a wilderness enthusiast living in the wilderness), Street Kid (a clever from the lower classes) and Corpo (a well-off corporate employee).

I decided to take the Corpo path to get to the center of megapolis as the main place of action as soon as possible.

In fact, regardless of the choice of path after a short prologue, all players will hit the same place, and after completing the first mission of rescuing the girl from the cooler - the same that I watched two years ago at the E3 in Los Angeles - I could go to explore the city .

Before I moved on with the main plot to download , I visited the area and did some side activities - I cleaned up the dealers and got in touch with the police. I also looked at the map, on which one by one, the well-known Witcher 3 question marks began to bloom.

Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to discover what is hidden under all the markers on the map, but ... I looked into the legend.

Thanks to this, I know that map markers are divided into several categories. In addition to the player's position, the first thing that catches the eye is the flat and the location of the vehicle - although V can at any time press the right arrow on the cross to call your car like Geralt faithful Roach.

In addition, in Night City you can find numerous shops and service outlets. Ripperdoc will mount implants, Techie sells electronics, and Sex Worker ... as the game itself indicates, if you need an explanation of what it does, it's better stay with the blocks don't go there.

Of course, the list of service points in Night City does not end there.

In other shrines you can buy or sell food, clothes, weapons and other rubbish. For this there are medics, netrunners and martial arts trainers available, and after a successful mission you can go to one of the bars and have a drink - during the show I was indeed treated to cold Johnny Silverhand .

CD Projekt RED has also prepared a whole spectrum of mission markers in Cyberpunk 2077 . In addition to the Main Job, you can find Side Missions, but this is only the beginning. The list of additional activities in the open world of Night City that you can come across is long and consists of:

• Special Delivery;
• Traveling Vendor;
• Convoy.

Quickly, however, it turns out that this is only one of the categories of additional challenges, because the player can help both fixers, i.e. local information brokers, and the police. Eurodollars, experience and Street Cred can be obtained in many different ways, and the map also has items such as:

• Assault in Progress;

During the show I managed to check only a few markers, but the list of activity types itself suggests that the open world of Night City will be diverse. Whether this will really make the gameplay repetitive, but we'll find out in November, and in the meantime we can enjoy the new Cyberpunk 2077 trailer .
