Although the smartphone branch of LG is in a deep crisis, the company has not yet said the last word. Here are the new LG K61, LG K51S and LG K41S. Koreans' last chance to stay afloat.

The former mobile technologies giant is today at most a bullet for the giant corporation. Last year, LG earned over $ 2 billion. Only that in the smartphone department the loss amounted to as much as $ 0.8 billion.

This is not surprising. LG has been missing a clear idea for a long time to stay in the game. The flagship models, from LG G5 to today, were a band of sales disappointments, even if some of them (LG V30 / V40) were very successful devices.

The flagship models are not, however, driving the sale: they are mid-range models. And here LG gets booty from every side - from Xiaomi and Honor, through Motorola, to Samsung. Let's be honest: there is no reason in the universe to choose an LG smartphone for up to PLN 1,500. Unless we're talking about top-of-the-range models that have lost 75 percent during the year. This year, the mid-range K series will receive features from the most expensive models. First of all, we are talking about new housings and new cameras.

All models are equipped with 6.5 "screens and enclosures that meet MIL-STD810G standards. They all have batteries with a capacity of 4000 mAh and they are all powered by eight-core processors, although ... LG does not reveal what processors it is. We do not know the Polish prices of these devices yet, but judging by the previous models, we will be dealing with amounts from approximately PLN 1399 for LG K61, through PLN 899 for LG K51S and up to PLN 599 for LG K41S. At least that's how I bet. If these smartphones are even slightly more expensive, they will disappear on the market crushed by better equipped competitors.

All hope for LG lies in the fact that these phones are not more expensive and that they hit the operators at reasonable prices.

For Koreans, this is the last chance not to end up like HTC, which - according to unofficial information - intends to finally roll its smartphone business off the market this year.
