Redmi Note 12: First indications of the next price-performance winner

Redmi Note 11 Pro+

The Redmi Note 12 series could be launched as early as April or May and will be equipped with a high-performance processor from MediaTek, as now reported in a post on Weibo by Digital Chat Station.

The Redmi Note 11 series hasn't been available that long before the successor is already announced. According to the latest rumours, this should be presented in the second quarter, i.e. by June 2022 at the latest.

There are also first indications of the possible equipment of the Redmi Note 12 series. Even the tipster is still not quite sure whether the display will be an LCD or an OLED. But what is known is that the punch hole for the selfie camera will be installed in the middle of the display. The MediaTek Dimensity 8000 or the Dimensity 1300 should probably also work inside.

Earlier, Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group China and General Manager of Redmi Brand, stated that the Redmi Note series will be refreshed every six months, replacing the annual cycle.
