Motorola Edge 30 Key Specs known
After a few years of being on a flagship hiatus, Motorola recently made a big comeback with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 model, offered under three different names in different regions of the world.
What is perhaps even more confusing, not to say highly unusual, is the fact that the Edge 30 Pro, also known as the Edge+ (2022) or Edge X30, despite following in the footsteps of the Edge 20 family, which last year included a regular, a Pro, and a Lite model.
But now, finally, the Motorola Edge 30 is also announcing itself, which recently revealed a fairly powerful Snapdragon 778G+ processor under the hood in a benchmark test and which there are more rumors today that offers solid but anything but spectacular specifications .
The Motorola Edge 30 is said to feature a 6.55″ 144Hz FullHD+ P-OLED display in addition to the aforementioned upper mid-range SoC and 6/8GB RAM options paired with 128 and 256GB of storage respectively. And of course the phone is also 5G-capable.
On the back, it should get a 50 MP + 50 MP + 2 MP triple camera of the Motorola Edge 30 Pro. That's a 50MP main sensor coupled with a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, which is a radical departure from the 108MP main and 8MP secondary cameras on the back of last year's Edge 20 and Edge (2021).
Interestingly, the Motorola Edge 30 is said to have a much smaller display than its two predecessors and, of course, a smaller battery with 4,020 mAh. The 30-watt charging support and the single 32 MP selfie camera are said to be retained.
