Disney+ Delays Obi-Wan Kenobi Launch

The bad news first: Unfortunately, "Obi-Wan Kenobi" is being postponed by two days. The series no longer starts on Wednesday, but only on Friday. Ergo: The long-awaited series will start on May 27th. The good news: Instead of one episode, Disney + wants to make the first two episodes available. However, the transmission schedule for the other episodes will not change, because they are still broadcast on Wednesdays. As a result, things will continue on June 1st. There will be six episodes in total. The current publication times are as follows:

Episode 1 & 2: May 27, 2022 Episode 3: June 1, 2022 Episode 4: June 8, 2022 Episode 5: June 15, 2022/ Episode 6: June 22, 2022

How long the episodes are in each case was not known in advance. Usually and according to experience, different lengths between 30 and 60 minutes can be expected.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: The starting position

And what is Obi-Wan Kenobi about? Little is known about the content. What you know: The series takes place approximately 10 years after the events of "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith". The Jedi Master is hidden on Tatooine and watches over Luke Skywalker from afar, who still knows nothing about his lineage and his great future. By the way, his father (Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader) will definitely have an appearance in "Obi-Wan Kenobi", because in addition to Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen is also on board the series.
