Fans are eagerly awaiting the new Star Wars series Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney+. The launch date was believed to be certain, but now Ewan "Obi-Wan Kenobi" McGregor himself is making an important announcement on the official Star Wars YouTube channel.

When the first trailer for "Obi-Wan Kenobi" was released in early March, Disney+ also communicated the official start date of the new Star Wars series. It should start on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. This date is no longer valid , as the Scottish actor Ewan McGregor has now announced. The actor who plays Obi-Wan Kenobi has both good and bad news to share with fans (Source: Star Wars).

The bad news first: Unfortunately, "Obi-Wan Kenobi" is being postponed by two days. The series no longer starts on Wednesday, but only on Friday. Ergo: The long-awaited series will start on May 27th.
