Xiaomi has released its two new beasts: this is the Redmi K50 and Redmi K50 Pro
After presenting the new Redmi Max 100″ , Xiaomi has unveiled its two new beasts. We are talking about the Redmi K50 and Redmi K50 Pro , two terminals that we are likely to see in the Global market under the POCO F4 Series.
On this occasion, Xiaomi has once again opted for MediaTek. Both the Redmi K50 and the Redmi K50 Pro use the latest processors from the Taiwanese company . Of course, the rest of the features are up to any other high-end smartphone.
New Redmi K50 Pro, the most beast
The Redmi K50 Pro debuts with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor inside. This, according to the first comparisons, is capable of outperforming the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, thus offering exceptional performance, especially in games.
As for the screen, the Redmi K50 Pro makes use of a Samsung E4 AMOLED panel . This has a 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz . It also has a pixel density of 526ppi, Dolby Vision and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
In the photographic section, Xiaomi has not reduced costs either. The Redmi K50 Pro makes use of a 108MP camera with optical stabilization (OIS) . In this way it becomes the member of the Redmi K range with the best camera.
Beyond that, the Redmi K50 Pro has Bluetooth 5.3 , NFC 3.0 , stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, WiFi 6 and a 5,000mAh battery capable of charging in a matter of minutes thanks to its 120W fast charging system.
Redmi K50, the economic alternative
Maintaining the same design, as well as the same screen, the Redmi K50 is positioned as the economic alternative of this new generation. For this, it uses the MediaTek DImensity 8100 , a somewhat cheaper processor but with great potential.
In addition, the Redmi K50 differs from its older brother in the photographic section. It has a 48MP main camera . Of course, this also has an optical stabilization system (OIS), thus achieving better quality when taking night shots, moving or when recording videos.
Likewise, the Redmi K50 incorporates a 5,500mAh battery as a differentiating element. This also has its own fast charging system, in this case 67W , which although it is not so fast, it does offer us a fairly fast charge.
Price and availability
The Redmi K50 and Redmi K50 Pro will debut in China on March 22 at a price of:
- Redmi K50 : From 2,399 yuan, about 342 euros to change
- Redmi K50 Pro : From 2,999 yuan, about 427 euros to change
