According to new information, the Xiaomi 12 series will be presented globally on March 15th. This is reported by "authoritative sources". We don't have to expect anything in this direction from Xiaomi at the ongoing Mobile World Congress 2022, the manufacturer will not be there this year.

The unveiling of the Xiaomi 12 range on March 15 is set to take place at an online event. Europe is said to be one of the first markets outside of China to be sold. The Xiaomi 12 line consists of three models namely the Xiaomi 12, the Xiaomi 12 Pro and the Xiaomi 12X. However, it's still unclear if all three models will come to us.

The camera setup of the Xiaomi 12 series will be an important marketing point for the global presentation of the smartphones. The theme of the event on March 15 will be "Master every scene" to showcase the lineup's impressive camera system. All three models in the series have a 50 MP camera in combination with telephoto and ultra wide-angle sensors.

All three global models of the Xiaomi 12 series are equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon chips. While the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro are powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, the 12X features the Snapdragon 870.

The Xiaomi 12X is said to cost between EUR 600.00 and EUR 700.00 in Europe with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage space. Also, the Xiaomi 12 will be available with the same memory configurations as the Xiaomi 12X. However, the device will cost between EUR 800.00 and EUR 900.00. Potentially, the Xiaomi 12 with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage could start at EUR 800.00, with twice the storage capacity costing an additional EUR 100.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro should be available for at least EUR 1,000.00. The model is said to only come with 256GB of storage, with options of 8GB RAM or 12GB RAM. The latter could cost up to EUR 1,200.00.
