The waiting is over. Xiaomi has announced three top smartphones for Germany that were presented in China some time ago and have been on the market there for some time. That's why smartphones aren't really new. Nevertheless, it is worth taking a look at the devices, because the Samsung Galaxy S22 in its three versions has a lot of competition.

Xiaomi 12 takes on the Samsung Galaxy S22

The processor is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which has 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal storage. The main camera is a 50 MP sensor, which is supposed to create great photos and videos with the support of artificial intelligence. There is also an ultra wide angle and a macro camera with 13 and 5 MP. There is no telephoto lens .

The battery of the Xiaomi 12 measures 4,500 mAh and can be charged with 67 watts via cable and 50 watts wirelessly. A corresponding power pack is included in the scope of delivery . Android 12 and the new MIUI 13 interface are used, so you are up to date with them.

Xiaomi 12X targets the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE

The Xiaomi 12X can be seen more in the upper middle class or lower upper class. It has a 6.28-inch 120Hz AMOLED display that reaches up to 1,100 nits of brightness. The processor is "only" the Snapdragon 870 , which has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. The battery measures 4,500 mAh and can be quickly charged with up to 67 watts. A wireless charging function is missing. Again, there's the 50 MP main camera, the 13 ultra-wide angle and a 5 MP macro camera. Running Android 12 and MIUI 13, this smartphone is up to date in terms of software.

Compared to the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE , the IP certification is also missing here, but that applies to all Xiaomi models. Otherwise, it is to be welcomed that you get 256 GB of internal memory here and can charge the battery so quickly. The power pack is included in the scope of delivery.
