Way too expensive? Samsung Galaxy A53 price revealed
With the Galaxy A53, a new mid-range smartphone has been announced for a long time, which not only succeeds the Galaxy A52, but could even become an attractive alternative to the Galaxy S22. Now a first price has appeared and it is higher than previously expected.
Samsung Galaxy A53 could cost 469 euros
The A-Class from Samsung is particularly popular because you get really good equipment at an attractive price. But the latest generation should be significantly more expensive. While there was also a cheap 4G version of the Galaxy A52, there will probably only be a more expensive 5G version of the Galaxy A53. In combination with an overall better equipment, the price will be relatively high according to a dealer from Italy. We're talking about 469 euros (source: SamMobile). Not only would that be £20 more expensive than the Galaxy A52s 5G, it would also be a lot more expensive than the Galaxy A52 . The 4G model only cost 349 euros.
If this cheaper entry-level version is eliminated and there is only the much better 5G version of the Samsung Galaxy A53, the hurdle to purchase would be significantly higher. We are then almost at 500 euros and you really have to ask yourself whether you want to buy a mid-range cell phone with the Galaxy A53 or a high-end smartphone from last year . The Galaxy S21 is moving strongly towards 500 euros after the launch of the Galaxy S22.
The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G already convinced:
Wait for the price of the Samsung Galaxy A53 to drop
If the price of 469 euros for the Galaxy A53 is confirmed and there is only a more expensive version with a 5G model, then you will have to wait for the price to drop. The Galaxy A52s 5G was also introduced for 449 euros and now costs just over 300 euros (check it out on Amazon). The other models such as the Galaxy A33 may then become more interesting. At the latest after the presentation of the smartphones we will know more. The first rumors sound very promising.
