The first leaked news of the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 reveals some of its features
Xiaomi braces are one of the most affordable and popular fitness trackers in many markets. The company now offers the Xiaomi 6 strap, which was introduced almost a year ago. However, the next generation tracker is probably on the way, as rumors have started about it.
According to a new XDAdevelopers report, the first features of the upcoming fitness tracker, called the 7-band, were discovered through code in Xiaomi applications.
These codes indicate that the smartband 7 has the code name "L66" and model numbers M2129B1 and M2130B1. This smart strap has a 192x 490p display and supports Always On Display for multiple clock screens and a range of workout modes, from aerobics to Zumba. This leaked news indicates that Clause 7 may have built-in GPS support.
This code also indicates that Clause 7 has a smart alarm feature that automatically wakes you up 30 minutes before the predefined alarm. And last but not least, the power saving mode to improve battery life.
At the moment, there is no news from Xiaomi about the next generation MiB, but considering that the company introduced MiB6 at the end of March last year, we will surely hear more about the next generation in the coming days. So join us.
