Poco F4 and Poco F4 Pro: More details surfaced

Redmi K50

Xiaomi may not be far off from unveiling the Poco F4 and Poco F4 Pro, global versions of the Redmi K50 and Redmi K50 Pro+. Apparently, the FCC has confirmed that the former will launch with MIUI 13 and a 4,400mAh battery, while the Poco F4 Pro will be a 5G-enabled smartphone.

Earlier this month it was announced that the Poco F4 Pro appeared in IMEI databases under the model number 22011211G. It is believed to be a re-branding of the Redmi K50 Pro+. The 22011211G has now been certified by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) in Singapore and the 22021211RG by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the USA.

The 22011211G aka Poco F4 Pro will be a 5G smartphone with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000. In comparison, the FCC has released numerous details about the 22021211RG aka Poco F4, including that it will have a 4,400 mAh battery. It will be launched with MIUI 13, which may already be on Android 12.

The Poco F4 is said to be launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, the same SoC that is also said to power the Redmi K50. The Poco F4 could also be a re-branding of the Xiaomi 12X that launched in China last year.
