OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei is working on an Android smartphone. A first photo that was secretly taken gives an idea of what the Nothing cell phone could look like. Not much can be seen in the picture, but that really makes the rumors boil up. A presentation is expected shortly.
Nothing cell phone surfaced in first photo
Carl Pei would like to know again: After the co-founder of OnePlus has now built up another company and released the first headphones, an Android smartphone is now on the agenda. Several cryptic tweets recently indicated this. Now a first picture has appeared that is said to show a prototype of the Nothing cell phone (source: Evan Blass). Taken secretly and from afar, however, hardly anything can be seen.
Pei presents the smartphone in the picture to the CEO of Qualcomm. It has long been no secret that Nothing will cooperate with the chip manufacturer. The photo was taken at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

According to previous reports, Nothing's first Android smartphone will reportedly feature transparent elements . The manufacturer wanted to draw attention to itself with its TWS headphones. The absolutely chic design of the wireless earbuds Nothing Ear (1) is impressive - and perhaps the design language will actually be adopted by the Nothing smartphone.

Nothing smartphone: presentation is imminent
The phone hasn't been officially announced yet. However, Nothing probably does not want to take much time with the presentation, because the presentation is supposed to be held in April 2022 . It is not yet clear which features the smartphone will use to attract customers. Basically nothing is known about the specifications so far, apart from a Qualcomm processor.
