The Motorola Frontier is quite an interesting smartphone that has been reported on quite a few times. The first specs appeared in January while the design emerged in February . Now a tipster has confirmed the Motorola Frontier specs and that the phone will be launching "soon".
The Motorola Frontier will have very thin bezels, a center front camera and a curved display. The phone will also have an in-display fingerprint sensor and will be made of metal and glass.
One of the most interesting details is that a whopping 194 MP main camera (1/1.5 inch sensor) will be installed. This camera is supported by a 50 MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 12 MP telephoto camera (Sony IMX664 sensor). A 60 MP camera will be installed on the front of the phone.
A 6.67″ OLED display with FullHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz will also be installed. The Snapdragon 8475 is named as the SoC, which is probably the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 from TSMC.
The phone will offer 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage. A 4,500 mAh battery is also included and supports wired fast charging at 125 watts. Fast wireless charging is also offered as the device supports 30 or 50 watt wireless charging.
Android 12 will be used as the operating system. WiFi 6E, stereo speakers, two SIM card slots and Bluetooth 5.2 will also be included. The Motorola Frontier should be on the market before July.
