Magisk v24.2 released with Zygisk improvements, stability fixes and more
In 2022, Magisk is the most popular and recommended rooting solution for Android devices. Created by John Wu, also known as XDA Recognized Developer topjohnwu, the Magisk project has gradually evolved into a more versatile and powerful tool that goes beyond simple rooting.
A large part of its success is due to the developer's consistency and commitment to quality updates. The last major version of Magisk, version v24, was released back in January and includes Zygisk and a plethora of interesting improvements. Now, topjohnwu has released a new public beta build of Magisk in the form of v24.2, which includes several root access bug and stability fixes.
An interim build was released just two days after v24.1 was released, but it only contained a small update with a handful of app improvements. However, the latest version of Magisk is a full-fledged maintenance update focused on fixing bugs, expanding Zygisk's compatibility, and improving stability.
