Google Pixel: Fixed issues with NFC & Google Pay

pixels 5

After the March 2022 update, some Pixel users were amazed. Because suddenly they could no longer make contactless payments with NFC & Google Pay with their Pixel smartphone. The models Pixel 3a to Pixel 5 were affected, there were problems using NFC.

Fortunately, the users of the new Pixel 6 models were not affected, because the update is not yet available for these two models. It will probably be distributed on Monday . But all other still supported Google phones were affected by the bug.

The error message "Your phone does not meet the software standards." appeared on affected devices. The affected models suddenly no longer passed the SafetyNet check. Google then took care of the problem.

In any case, the problem should now be fixed and all Pixel users can pay with Google Pay again. At least that's what Google says.
