EMUI 12, the latest version of Huawei's in-house user interface, will soon be rolled out to the rest of the eligible models. Originally presented in the summer of last year, the Chinese manufacturer has only slowly brought it to the first smartphones.
Huawei has now specified the schedule for the European rollout of the update. All eligible smartphones should receive it by late spring. Now we know the exact dates for all eligible models.
Huawei released a list of all eligible smartphones late last year, but we weren't sure when they would receive the update. Now the schedule is known, here is when your Huawei smartphone will receive EMUI 12:
- Huawei Mate Xs: Deployment Complete (Late January 2022)
- Huawei Mate 30 Pro: rollout completed (mid-January 2022)
- Huawei-P40 : will be rolled out in waves (mid-January 2022)
- Huawei P40 Pro : Introducing waves (mid-January 2022)
- Huawei P40 Pro+ : launch in waves (mid-January 2022)
- Huawei-Mate 40 Pro : launch in waves (mid-January 2022)
- Huawei P40 Lite : Introducing Waves (mid-February 2022)
- Huawei P40 Lite 5G : launch in waves (late February 2022)
- Huawei P30: April 2022
- Huawei P30 Pro: April 2022
- Huawei Mate 20 : April 2022
- Huawei Mate 20 Pro: April 2022
