{Disarmed} Xiaomi also has a 27-inch professional monitor and (luckily) it s not as expensive as the new Apple Studio Display
As many of you already know, yesterday a new Apple event took place in which the company presented various new equipment related to mobile telephony , tablets and even complete computers , but in this case we are going to focus on its new Apple Studio Display , a 27-inch monitor with 5K resolution at a fairly high price.
Xiaomi is one of those companies that has alternatives to practically all the products of other big brands and, how could it be otherwise, has a professional monitor that costs a third of this new Apple product, offering quite remarkable quality. so we have asked ourselves: Is it worth spending so much money on a screen having other high-level ones for much less price? Let's see it.

Two monitors similar in size, but very different in everything else
There is no doubt that both products are aimed at a fairly professional user sector, and that is something that we can verify from the outset by looking at the designs of these monitors, which are made entirely of metal and have quite complete physical connectivity.

Something interesting is that, although by default both come with traditional tilt-adjustable bases, only the Xiaomi can be placed in a vertical format with the configuration with which it arrives from the factory, while Apple opts for different supports although, yes, we will have to pay an extra price for them.
Of course, both are fully compatible with VESA-type anchors for mounting on different desktop accessories, and the biggest advantage of the Xiaomi on a physical level is that it has buttons that include different shortcuts to change the panel configuration to our taste , something that will have to be done from the system itself on the Apple monitor.

Of course, where the Apple Studio Display clearly stands out is in the incorporation, first of all, of a 12 Mpx front camera and 122º field of vision to be able to make video calls without the need for external peripherals, as well as the inclusion of a six stereo speakers.
This is something that Xiaomi's option cannot directly enjoy, and it certainly makes a difference, since this system is compatible with Dolby Atmos technology, which promises to provide a first-rate experience in this regard.

In addition, added to that front camera that we mentioned, we also have a three-microphone system available with which we can make video calls without the need for external microphones in addition to being able to interact with Siri , perhaps something that users who are looking for a high-quality monitor do not look for. quality, but that is undoubtedly an addition to be taken into account.

But apart from these novelties, in both cases we have panels that promise first-rate display quality, with a slightly higher resolution in the case of the Apple model (5K vs 4K), a really similar brightness (again a little above on the side of the Studio Display) and in general some associated technologies that promise a top experience.
Without a doubt, the price completely marks the difference between the two
At this point, we must bear in mind that, although both monitors are aimed at professional use, Xiaomi's option is substantially cheaper, although it is true that that camera and speaker system that we find on the way is left behind. apple side.

Another important problem is that, at least for the moment, the Xiaomi Monitor Ultra Clear 4K is not sold in the European market, although we believe that it makes perfect sense to launch it sooner rather than later to fight face to face in this segment, and more taking into account that its official price in China is 485 euros to change, about 1,300 euros less than what we are going to have to pay for the Apple monitor.
Therefore, we will have to assess whether or not those 1,300 euros of difference will be worth it in our case if we are simply looking for a panel that gives us a first-class viewing experience, although from our side we tell you that with that money, we can add an external speaker system and even a camera far superior to the one integrated into the Apple Studio Display.
