Sony Xperia 1 IV

A new top model from Sony is on the way. The Sony Xperia 1 IV builds on its predecessor but improves on a few points. However, the Japanese will stick with their elongated 21:9 format and the side triple cam on the back this year.

Sony also has a new flagship model up its sleeve for 2022. Although the Japanese manufacturer is releasing fewer smartphones than before, the mobile division is still active. The fourth generation Sony Xperia 1 is expected later this year.

Last week the first render images of the Sony Xperia 1 IV appeared. The images show that the new top model inherits many design cues from its predecessor, the Xperia 1 III. The latter was unveiled in April last year, leading many to expect the 4th generation to be officially unveiled next month.

Based on all the information already available, graphic designer Parvez Khan, aka Technizo Concept, has created a series of product images of the Sony Xperia 1 IV. The YouTube video below was also designed by Technico Concept. The pictures give a good first impression of the expected top model from Sony.
