{Disarmed} No more looking through the peephole: Xiaomi presents a security system that tells us who is knocking on the door
Xiaomi has a multitude of products in its portfolio. On this occasion, it has presented a new ideal security system for peepholes.
Xiaomi Smart Cat Eye, a camera integrated in the peephole
Before opening the door, look through the peephole. Although sometimes we do not remember, this is a security measure to be able to know who is on the other side of the door.
In this case , Xiaomi has launched Smart Cat Eye, a device that is attached to the door. On the outside, a camera stands out with a viewing angle of up to 160 degrees , thus being able to know everything that happens at the door of our home, in addition to a small bell that is also integrated into the device itself.
On the inside we find a 5-inch screen through which it is possible to see what is happening outside. This integrates an 8,000 mAh battery that lasts up to 6 months. It is recharged in a very simple way through USB type C.

The camera is capable of showing what is happening at the door both during the day and at night. Of course, despite not being compatible with any smartphone app, this one is capable of recognizing the faces of certain people.

At the moment it will be released on March 31 in China at a price of 699 yuan , which in exchange is approximately 100 euros.
