{Disarmed} MIUI 13 has just implemented a widget store to dominate them all (and we want it in our Xiaomi)
You may not know it, but MIUI 13 comes wrapped in a fully customizable widget vault , very similar to what has already been seen in previous customization layers but implementing some performance improvements and adding new clocks, file galleries, track control of more intuitive audio and other very functional features.
In China, this vault of widgets can be expanded with the different options of the official store. In it there are dozens of tools to add, calculators, pedometers, retro aesthetic clocks, maps, virtual portfolios and even direct access to shopping baskets.
And now, in addition, MIUI is testing a grouping system for all the widgets related to the same function, such as music control. That is, if for example we have widgets installed on Amazon Music, My Music , Apple Music, Spotify and Tidal, all of them will be integrated into the same "folder".
More features in less space: widgets grouped by folders
This week, as part of the daily beta of China ROM 22.2.28, MIUI 13 has "woke up" with some very interesting changes, such as a horizontal swipe system to access different widgets more quickly and easily.
Detected by the Spanish channel MIUIes , this change is related to the music widgets of the different applications, which are now integrated into the same "folder", giving rise to the horizontal feed that we see in the image above .
And the truth is that we would love to have something like this in our terminals. We hope that the European/EEA ROM will not play hard to get some of these features.
