Bose, JBL, Sony & Co: The 16 most popular headphone brands in Germany
Around 8.9 million headphones were sold in Germany in 2010, and by 2020 there were already 15.5 million. xiaomist looked at the statistics and tells you which 16 brands are currently the most popular.
Headphones are now almost as important to many users as smartphones, with an impressive 71 percent of all people in Germany owning a pair (source: Bitkom). Modern models are wireless (Bluetooth), are suitable both for listening to music and as a headset, and are welcome to cost a little more. Around 80 euros was spent on average for headphones in this country in 2020 - in 2017 the average price was still 40 euros. (Hobby) musicians sometimes have to pay three-digit amounts – for them it is an important tool for assessing sound. So-called audiophiles know no price limits at all, they pay several thousand euros for the best possible sound - here a part is also invested in equipment such as high-quality digital-to-analog converters and amplifiers.
