Amazon now offers all holders of a social pass or a license fee exemption a discount of 50 percent on the Amazon Prime subscription. It's not new, but there was an update last month.
So if you can prove one of the two, you can successfully qualify for a discounted Prime membership. According to Amazon, however, a new qualification will be necessary after 12 months. Who is Eligible? According to Amazon, the following must be fulfilled:
- Current notification of the broadcasting fee/GIS exemption
- Current social passports for the following cities/communities: Aachen, Berlin, Bielefeld, Bochum, Bonn, Bönnigheim, Braunschweig, Bremen, Chemnitz, Dortmund, Dresden, Duisburg, Düsseldorf, Erfurt, Essen, Frankenthal, Frankfurt am Main, Gera, Halle (Saale), Hamburg, Hanover, Karlsruhe, Kiel, Cologne, Krefeld, Langenfeld, Leipzig, Ludwigsburg, Magdeburg, Mannheim, Miesbach, Mönchengladbach, Mühlheim, Munich, Münster, Nuremberg, Osnabrück, Pforzheim, Regensburg, Rhede, Rüsselsheim, Salzgitter, Salzkotten, Schwarndorf, Solingen, Stuttgart, Waiblingen, Warnow, Wuppertal
This Prime access is not restricted, i.e. normal access without restrictions, just cheaper.
