Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 is scheduled to launch in Q2/2022

According to a new report, the foldable Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 could be launched as early as the second quarter of 2022. This information comes from Digital Chat Station, a well-known Chinese tipster.

That means we can expect the new foldable sometime between early April and late June. This mobile phone will be a direct successor to the Xiaomi Mi MIX Fold.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX Fold was introduced in March last year and was Xiaomi's first foldable smartphone. However, the device was not launched worldwide, but remained exclusively in China. Hopefully that won't be the case with his successor.

The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 is expected to offer a similar design as its predecessor. It will open like a book and have two displays. First information about the possible equipment is already known.

The device is rumored to have an 8.1″ main display with a QHD+ resolution. Both the main and secondary displays are expected to offer high refresh rates this time around. Xiaomi will likely use an LTPO panel here, at least for the main display. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is expected to power this smartphone.
