A new report has now revealed details of a brand new Xiaomi 12 series device, the mid-range Xiaomi 12 Lite. The Xiaomi 12 Lite seems to be based heavily on the Xiaomi Civi, which was presented in China months ago and is expected to be launched soon.
After the launch of the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12X a few months ago, Xiaomi has another device in the works and it's not the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. The company is planning to release the Xiaomi 12 Lite and a new leak has now given a glimpse of the successor to the Mi 11 Lite.
According to a report by Xiaomiui, the Xiaomi 12 Lite is said to be codenamed "taoyao" and internally named "l9". The device will feature a 6.55" curved FullHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display.
Judging by the leaked images, the Xiaomi 12 Lite seems to share many characteristics with the Xiaomi Civi that was launched in China a few months ago and also borrows heavily from this device in its design. The Xiaomi 12 Lite is rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 778G+ and sport a 64MP GW3 as the main camera, but lacks OIS.
