It has been known for a long time that Samsung will probably say goodbye to the Note series completely. Although the South Korean company has not yet officially confirmed the step, everything speaks in favor of it. After all, there was no Galaxy Note 21 this year and the S Pen is used instead in other smartphones such as the Galaxy S21 Ultra or Galaxy Z Fold 3. It has now become known that the production of the last Note smartphones will end at the end of the year (source: ETNews).

Accordingly, there will be no more smartphones from Samsung from the Note series in the future. A Galaxy Note 22 Ultra is therefore no longer planned. Instead, the Galaxy S22 Ultra should become even more of a note smartphone, where the S Pen can even be inserted into the housing. One can assume that Samsung will expand the S-Pen support in more smartphones .

With that, a small era comes to an end. Samsung built what was, by the standards of the time, a huge smartphone with the first Galaxy Note , where other manufacturers were selling much smaller devices and saying nobody needs a bigger display. That's history now, and Apple has realized that too.
