It seems like the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 (Classic) has some issues after the last update. And with Google Pay. There seem to be 2 problems that prevent contactless payment with the smartwatch.

Contactless payment with a smartwatch is becoming increasingly popular. But there are now problems with the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. It probably started in mid-January, but the complaints have been increasing since last week.

When trying to add a new credit card to the Google Pay account, an error message appears stating that the Galaxy Watch 4 does not meet the Google Pay software standards. That's a bit strange. The second error message states that something went wrong during setup and Google Pay setup cannot be completed.

The bugs are suspected to be related to the major Wear OS update from a few days ago. Google is already investigating this problem, but there is no solution to the problem yet.
